A little late, but always a delight to celebrate #batmanday or should we say night?

Batman arguing that Batman's day should be called batman's night instead and jumping from a building into action, black and white comic art of batman superhero from DC comics Bruce Wayne Gotham city

As I was finishing my comic I felt the drawings were too stiff, especially as I was reading Dandadan's manga. So I decided to give it a try, especially now as I felt more comfortable with the characters and with my style. Although it is not perfect, I had a blast!

Why didn't anyone tell me how tiresome all this is....

Guy Perez @guyprz.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

The never ending story of working on a self produced comic tends to be so tiresome. Almost all pages are finished but I love to take the time to do renditions to my all time favourite #akiratoriyama #comic #comicbook #comicartist #comicbookart #comicart

Cinematic progression! it is fascinating to see how everything takes shape and gets perfected though the creative input of each artist involved in it. I love these grounded moments as they just reflect on what the characters went through. Cheers to all my colleagues for being the artists they are!

As i keep completing the remaining pages from my comic, I also try create some images for the interior of the comic, always using as reference the late Akira Toriyama. As you can see here I am referencing one of his usual compositions for some of the ilustrations he made for Dragon Ball.

These are just some of my favorite frames I made for the storyboards of Insomniac's Spider-man2 for PS5 🕷️ Not all made it into the cinematics but to be able to add some seasoning into Spider-man's universe, it's a wonderful gift to get in this ball of dust travelling through space where we are in.

What a feeling it is to finally get the copies of a comic book for which i did some cover art years ago. As any other artist i see it now and i am horrified by my own art, but then i remember the world we live in and just try to let go of complexes and enjoy it for what it is, a childhood dream.
