A great day in Singapore with a brilliant panel of students at the SAPE conference. We should really listen to them about their reactions to AI. We compared it with our own data from the ISB. #Etio#SAPE

Had a fantastic week working with the University of Auckland on our iMPACT project exploring the barriers that prevent students from engaging with international opportunities. My thanks to Martin, Natasha, Taylor and the wider team for their warm welcome and hospitality.

I recently took part in a roundtable hosted by WAHEN, exploring how AI is shaping access, admissions and student success for under-represented groups. Faster decisions don't automatically mean fairer outcomes. With AI we need to ensure equity is built into the data and decisions that guide its use.

I’ve just wrapped up a brilliant couple of days with an audience that could not have been more enthusiastic, engaged, and generous with their ideas. What stood out most was the energy in the room. Vietnam feels like a country very much on the move in higher education, #MOET#BritishCouncil#APAIE#Etio

Malaysia’s Living Experience: Affordable, Welcoming, and Socially Connected Malaysia stands out strongly in the student living experience, especially in two areas that matter deeply to international students: cost of living and building friendships with locals.

Australia may have lost to Egypt on penalties...... But right now the Australian government seem to be scoring their own goals in the global competition for international students. Agree or Disagree? #Etio#AustralianUniversities#HigherEd

Actual American greatness came after World War II based on a partnership between universities and the federal government to make huge investments in science. It gave America an extraordinary edge over the rest of the world. But people like Atlas want to dismantle that partnership.

Heading to Vietnam soon and the education landscape is shifting fast. For years, we’ve talked about this as an "outbound" market, but that narrative is fading. Vietnam is actively building itself into a regional education hub. Is the old recruitment model already obsolete? 🇻🇳 #HigherEd #Vietnam
