dude. the lead singer in the new Hololive trainee Unit B, Neon? she sounds amazing even as she is. with just a little guidance and extra polish to her singing, then putting her in a studio and give her some proper instrumentation and mixing, and she is gonna sound unbelievably good

I just double tracked acoustic guitar for the first time ever. normally I'd just do one track and add a stereo widening effect. but I decided to go all in for this next song I'm doing. and my fingers are hurting like hell. even typing this sucks lmao

dude so much of Blue Lock S2 was rough but they poured EVERYTHING into that final sequence (as they absolutely should have, 100% the right call) and it was almost worth the rest of the season looking like a PowerPoint

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 02/01/2025

KAISER TEASE AT THE END OF BLUE LOCK S2 IS SO HYPE LETS FUCKING GO

seeing a light novel that's caught my eye in bookstores and I hope is really good but I'm not quite sold on it enough to cold turkey the light novel get an anime adaptation and turns out it's really good is like one of my top 5 favorite things

for some reason I thought I got a Metaphor spoiler that Junah was actually a three-eyed person like Pudding but turns out she just has a big forehead. and the girl with three eyes was someone else. whoops. my bad Junah

I went to their wedding!! it’s only been like 2 years… and another cousin, her sister, broke up with her longtime boyfriend who was really cool and is now playing the field as a bougie gym rat white girl that all the boys want

I cannot believe people are blaming MENGO for Oshi no Ko’s ending like BRUH she literally only drew what Akasaka told her to. the guy to blame is literally right there

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

ZZZ gonna single handedly make me believe in beginner’s luck bc I pulled for Burnice only like 25-30 times and got two S-rank agents including her but pulled 78 times for Yamagi only to finally get an S-rank that WASN’T HER. good god man

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

I gotta say I usually suspend my disbelief for anime in general by default but I actually find myself relieved when I see videos in the Blue Lock subreddit that show that moves characters like Nagi do can actually be done for real and aren't just theoretically feasible but practically impossible

000

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

man getting Guitar Rig has been such a fucking game changer, it's so nice to have a myriad of guitar amps to play with for my music

Metaphor ReFantazio and Unicorn Overlord getting nominated for stuff in the Game Awards but Persona 3 Reload is nowhere to be found is kinda hilarious

I'm not the kinda dude that would typically boycott a certain brand or product or whatever for one particular reason but Coca-Cola pushing a set of fully AI generated commercials and laying off thousands of employees for it might just be enough to make me switch to Pepsi

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

I'm thinking about getting a cat sometime next year... it's crazy to think about that if I got a kitten, it'd probably be around until I'm in my 40s

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

you know it sucks not getting Black Clover weekly anymore but man when this kinda art becomes the standard with every chapter how can I possibly be mad

000

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 13/11/2024

Sakamoto Days announcing that it'll be split into two parts before it even airs is such a lifesaver dude. I figured it'd be tw cours but more shows need to tell me ahead of time if they're gonna be back-to-back or split

000

Gus ⚡️ @guswritesmusic.bsky.social · 13/11/2024

god ZZZ is so fucking fun dude, they just went all out to make it as ridiculous and silly as possible. plus it has so much style and the animation is clean as hell, and the gameplay is nothing amazing but simple and effective. setting is great and characters are wonderful too man it just works
