This is true but also doesn’t tell the whole story. The September figures are higher because the 26 plate changes to a 76 plate. Buyers put off buying til this point. 2025 figures were 21,969 units (a 26.5% market share) in August and 72,779 units (a 23.3% market share) in September.

I went to the Munich Olympics with school party in 1972. I was 12. We all stayed with German families and were given U Bahn tickets and instructions to meet up at the park. Nobody had an issue. The name of the station I had to get off at was Unterpfaffenhofen- Germering.
