Also credit where credit is due, @johnnyyongbosch.bsky.social put his all into the performance of PJ Beckett. I cried at the ending again, and it was just so cool.

It's been 20 years since it came out in the UK, and I'm excited for Friday because that's when Ace Combat 8 comes out(I didn't get the early access version, but it's still going to be brilliant!). Also, it wasn't the version bundled with 8, it was on an Emulator.

Just completed Ace Combat Zero:The Belkan War again, in preparation for Ace Combat 8. It's been a while since I fully completed it, I clapped at the credits. As I said, my favourite performance in the game is from @yurilowenthal.bsky.social who plays Solo Wing Pixy. "Yo Buddy, Still Alive?".

Everyone’s doin’ their best and everyone’s burnt the f out and everyone needs more grace from everyone but everyone can’t find it to give if they don’t have the space to recover and we all collectively need a deep breath and a hot bubble bath and a break to rebuild our patience and energy.

NOOSHY! She's my second favourite played by Actress Letitia Wright of Black Panther fame. Though obviously I love Porsha more.

He looks like Pingu lol, but with an orange tuft, I remember Punki from Pingu lol. There were a lot of Pingu clones around this era, Pecola, Badtz Maru, Pororo, I could think of more.

Nine games that shaped who I am!

020

What's your "origin" video game? Most gamers have a lot of favorite games, sure, but there's always one that basically 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 you. I'm talking about the game that flipped that little switch in your brain and made into a life-long gamer. So, which game is 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?

He was 86, I must add. But he was just sitting in front of me, he was talking to me earlier today and he just collapsed and died.

I’m not joking. Friend of mine suddenly collapsed and died today.

Just wanted to say I'm a bit sad, I was sitting at my desk, a colleague of mine suddenly collapsed and died. I'm very sad about it and I just wanted to say I want you to value my Privacy at this time.

Ace Combat 7 is ahead of its time as its a commentary on AI and Technology and using it in warfare. And 8 is obviously going to be about refugees, a middle eastern style country called Sotoa and other stuff. But that is proof, the series has always been political.

000

Zero is Ostensibly about the Horrors of war, especially after the disturbing Hoffnung Mission that made me cry my eyes out. And the fact that Belka selfishly detonated seven nukes on their own soil. 6 is also to an extent about the horrors of war but with a bit of hope.

100

the third game is loosely about corporate overreach, the fourth game is about an Asteroid Strike causing Erusea to cause a war with Usea after turmoil after the strike. The Fifth game is about two countries being manipulated into war with each other by outside forces.

100

Also of note, I've been watching Ace Combat 8:Hour Zero. And there's a lot of talk about whether it has made Ace Combat "Too Political", I understand Sotoa is loosely based on Iran and other middle eastern countries. But Ace Combat has always inherently been political, at least since the fourth game

100

Destroy a submarine that launches an SLBM that if you fail will hit the city and give you a game over. And Finally Fighters Honor, which is the prototype for Ace Combat 4's "Megalith" in many ways.

000

Alongside Zero, 2 is one of my favourite Ace Combat games. It was the first Ace Combat game to ever feature Branching Paths, and it features an awesome climax consisting of 4 missions. First one you have to destroy the enemy garrison in a city, take over the rebels capital,

100

weren't even conceptualized, I mean Strangereal as a setting didn't exist until Ace Combat 4 came out. Yet its retconned into Strangereal. It's set in Usea during a Continental Rebellion, My original username, Scarface One, came from this game. I love it that much.

100

Just completed Ace Combat 2 again in preparation for Ace Combat 8, I really love the game, even though it only takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to beat, it's short but sweet. Now, what's so confusing about the game is it was made when Strangereal, the setting of ace combat.

If you see this, post your comfort characters!

Imagine if this was a Stranglers T-Shirt lol. because of their album of the same name.

Toshihiro Nagoshi produced F Zero GX, and it shows. I think that even though the Daytona USA 2 team worked on F355 Challenge, F Zero GX is truly what Daytona USA 3 should feel like. even if its a futuristic racing game rather than a stock car racing game.

100

I mean every single car/machine in F Zero GX has an animated driver/pilot, even in the gameplay. Something unheard of at the time. Daytona USA 2 only had one animated driver and the other cars were empty, same with Scud Race.

Been playing F-Zero GX, I think that it is the true Daytona USA 3. Not Daytona Championship USA, Daytona Championship USA is not an abomination as some people say but mediocre. I mean it reverses the evolution Daytona USA 2 did.

Back On BSky, I'm tired of X, the algorithm is driven on anger and outrage and after seeing recent comments towards several british politicians, I'm quitting it because there is no common decency on the site. Just endless malice and negativity.

Contemplating, after 9 years, of watching the Funday Pawpet Show again. This was something I did from 2015 to 2017 until it's first break. as "Scarfaceone" and I was on their IRC Channels for a while, GTA 6 has a Bellamy Brothers song they used to use in their pre-intro. "Let your love flow".
