Recently felt very unsure about a new project I started. It helped a lot to flesh out a small area early on to a degree that would normally happen much later. This gave me an early victory and let me glimpse the final product, boosting my morale. Can recommend! :)

I love how much power is given to textures when working with no external lighting and color clusters can blend into each other across topology, implying much more complex structures. It's one of my favorite aspects of pixel art texturing in low poly! #blockbench #3dmodeling

Surprised low poly modeling with pixel art textures is so niche, given how striking, relatively easy to learn and fun it is. The community is primarily made up of Minecraft modders. That's fine but limits what kind of models are being made. Would love to see more people give it a go! :)

Sometimes, I semi-jokingly ponder how lucky I am that the two art styles I enjoy working with the most, low poly modeling and pixel art, are also relatively low difficulty compared to most other styles. Especially gamedevs who work with them do so out of pragmatism but I just actually love them. :D

Pure grey is an easily underestimated tool when making pixel art or working with color in general. More so than any other "color", its appearance is heavily modulated by surrounding colors. It's quite powerful, give it a try! #pixelart #lowpoly
