I know it comes from a wholesome place and I hate to shit on everyone’s parade, just seems like another normalization of celebrating clout over art

I gotta be perfectly honest. Something about Spotify wrapped (for artists) season just turns me off It’s a manipulative marketing tactic that gives artists a sense of confidence they should be getting from the pride they have in their work, not buyable, manufacturable metrics

as an Italian American I am scared to watch The Wire because it may derank The Sopranos as the greatest show of all time in my mind

I noticed this and started like, almost meditating during my sets. Taking moments to slow down, make sure I’m looking up and noticing the crowd, taking deep breaths, just really trying to root myself in that moment. We deserve to remember our most cherished moments imo

full time producers - how are you all staying organized? do you use planners or have a specific system to assist with time management? I am having trouble balancing personal and freelance projects and content making

aye i appreciate that!

i got to demo them once and they sounded awesome, thats really it haha. they also have special stands that reduce unwanted vibrations, which i think is nifty

if i had a big budget i'd get Genelecs if my current monitors broke i'd get Kali Audios asap but my current Rokit 5's have been going strong for 12+ years

110

thank u bro. i shall make it happen

000

aye thanks homie!

in my current situation i obviously spend a lot more than when i wasnt ful time but i do believe if you're optimizing ur situation, u can get a loooot done creatively with just an hour or two in the DAW.
