The car that Ingo and Emmet are in in the illustration is car #5, the lounge car (and entrance to the train), the design is meant to mimic being in a forest with light dappled through the canopy leaves. It also has a 24-hour bar and piano music playing.

The name Shikishima is another name for Japan. It translates to "Island of Four Seasons". The route and stops the train takes depends on the season! It has it's own dedicated waiting room (named Prologue Shikishima) and platform at Ueno Station (Platform 13.5)!

Train Suite Shiki-shima is a Luxury Train! It is a specially designed hybrid electric and diesel E001 series operated by JR East! It consists of 10 cars, including sleeping cars, observation cars, a lounge car, and a dining car.

This train is a traveling restaurant! The outbound journey (Hachinohe->Kuji) includes the lunch course. It starts with a welcome drink, Aomori sparkling apple cider and appetizers (like in the drawing), then is followed by the main course. The inbound journey (Kuji->Hachinohe) is a dessert buffet

Tohoku Emotion is a Joyful Train owned by JR East, starting operation in 2013. It made up of 3 Kiha 110 series 700 cars (a diesel train). It operates in the Tohoku region running between Kuji in the Iwate prefecture to Hachinohe in the Aomori Prefecture. (Picture is from a Japan Rail Club blog)

Ty! I have no plans of animorphing into a dog (I'm more of a cat person anyways), but if I were to unexpectedly animorph into a dog, I have no doubts that I would figure out some way to put color on a canvas anyways haha!
