Had first game against Danny and at least on Apollo it's pretty funny to stab this mf in the air for half of his lifebar. Though I don't think this guy knew about Danny not having an airdash cap. He can create hella distance even with default 3 stam.

I hope their idea for him isn't as flat as just making him Fairfax's door-to-door salesman cum crash test dummy. They already have a generic lockheed martin engineer in the roster, and I think it would be more interesting if Danny is just forced into this role for some personal reason.

This is probably one area where they could've just did the same thing as Tarkov with an in-game day/night cycle instead of two separate maps. Might be a little less convenient, but passage of time being perceptible in-game is cool and adds some unique situations to be mindful of.

Danny is a lot cooler than I expected honestly. Even if it's not quite the classic version, adding rocket launcher to the game is cool, but then adding the rocket jump, jetpack, and Izuna Drop on one character is fucking sick.

I feel like it's more so down to how people engage with games to begin with. Like there are people who I know would "get it" even if they just run through a few CV games one after another, but this review feels like someone who's primarily into the theming and Castlevania as an aesthetic.

Finished the first episode, and it feels like a slight but noticeable jump compared to the first season. Like adding mini-games by itself is pretty neat, but the scale in general feels a bit bigger, even though you're still dealing with Main Street + Special location.

They're probably gonna gut the fuck out of Rat King's armor eventually. Genuinely absurd ability. Even without his ult, the amount of extra health he gets from armor + the damage cap + the low cooldown turn it into basically a passive DPS check.
