her results were finally able to be looked over comprehensively by a surgeon and because of the location(her neck) her cancer is too risky to operate on ..

just got results from my last visit with Susie and good news: they didn't find any evidence of the cancer spreading! but also bad news: she has an unrelated brain tumor

this is so fun i love talking about linguistics &regional dialects/accents. I wish I could post my own results but it guessed my exact location so all I can say is I guess i have to concede to the ppl who've told me I have a distinct accent. every1 else should do this tho I love seeing the results

i had a little time to draw today

a drawing showing my original characters Kenneth Honeywell, Perran Honeywell, and Belvedere Honeywell, Who are Father, daughter, and son they are depicted as children slash younger versions of themself as it's a flash-back type scene. it shows a text post next to their father (Kenneth) that reads "my son has created a primitive pillow fort. My daughter, unable to break her way in, has wandered to the kitchen and is eating his half finished dinner while he screams "NO! MINE!" from behind his walls. I could stop her, but I think it's important to let children learn important lessons like "when the enemy's fortifications are impregnable, pillage the countryside until starvation forces them out." the drawing is depicting this happening.

since my bed was on the floor before susie was happy sleeping next to it but since I got a bed frame she wants to be on my bed on top of me, but its like 4 ft off the floor & she cant jump so I improvised some stairs so she doesn't hurt herself & she slept on my leg all night & I couldnt move lol

gummy @gummysharkz.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

i work with a place that connects me with schools for teaching and there's been a harry potter class they've been trying to get teachers for like a month or more now and they upped the pay by 5x and it's still open. lol

gummy @gummysharkz.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

finally bought a bed frame today so i'm not sleeping on three mattresses stacked on top of each other (this was an inherited situation and not my decision) and susie is so confused she just walked in and has just been staring at the bed

had to go to a place that can be acronym-ed as AI and someone working there was wearing a big I<3AI pin with an extremely small almost unreadable text definition of what it actually meant by AI under..........?

gummy @gummysharkz.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

had off today so I've been drawing to draw but this is all I could make. anyway Perran is a woman to me now also. unrelated to the drawing but shes a woman here

a drawing of my two original characters named Perran and Aislahn (pronounced Ash-lahn). Perran is distracted with an intense expression and thinking "I need to go die in a war..." and Aislahn is in the background saying "hey hey, Perry!" calling out to her, he looks very sparkly.

susie suddenly started growing a mass on her cheek i got it checked out a few days ago and got the call tonight that it's likely cancer 🥲

gummy @gummysharkz.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I changed my mind about one of my ocs genders because I realized their and the entire story made way more sense and had more impactful themes and stuff if I did and I wanted to draw their new design but I just realized I've drawn them gender swapped b4 and they look exactly the same

It's difficult to tell how much hearing loss Susie has but since I've been having to put her away in my room so my sisters cat-unfriendly cat can come out and roam i've found the only way to calm her down (she hates feeling trapped) is to sing to her 💛 she hear me
