Thoughts and actions, mostly just thoughts about actions. Don’t worry, I also disappoint myself.

Billionaires. We shouldn’t have an economy that produces them. But, real harm is also done by ordinary managers who are willing to truck over their teams on the daily on their billionaire bosses behalf for nothing except a marginally better pay packet than what they’d get working for someone nice.

I know it’s not the same problem but ‘every time’ I put my scan pan frying pan in the oven to finish something off, I instantly forget the handle is surface of the sun hot 3 seconds after I have taken it out. I just won’t do it it anymore. The crispy topping is not worth the risk.

In my dreams I have the nicest cups of tea, but never get to finish them. I think that’s the dream - time to rest and finish a good cup of tea. Is that too much to ask?

I swatted a fly that landed on my cup. The rest of the fly is in the cup, I don’t think I’ll finish the tea. Not too keen on using the notepad that did the damage either.

My job after finishing school was booking passenger travel on all these lines. Unfortunately my geography was a bit sketchy. Apologies to anyone whose 88/89 holidays took them somewhere unexpected.

I was really hoping this video had sound, and that the bebe sized bat did purrs. Given that there is no sound, the purrs are still possible

Oven looks amazing except now it doesn’t work, waaaahhh. I think I may have got water where I shouldn’t have. Crossing my fingers it fixes itself or I’ll probably need an electrician. I knew I should have just bought a new oven!

I’ve got a Joint Centre for Disaster Research survey asking how I think and feel about landslides. It reveals a lot about what can be known about the risk in advance and in this case should have been known. I bet Tauranga Council aren’t the only ones sitting on risk reports, looking at you WCC

I foolishly made a morning schedule that didn’t account for me needing to lie in bed for at least half an hour and then spend another half an hour slowly eating breakfast. This is a much better plan. Not sure about the 5.30 start though.
