Keith Scott is, IMHO, a criminally underated guitarist. Great tone, feel, and delivers the goods live! Read my thoughts on Substack! open.substack.com/pub/guitarsw... #guitar #BryanAdams #KeithScott #GuitarPlayer

I recently made a video for Equipboard, doing a review and demonstration of the Boss PX-1. Technical details, addressing some myths, and a play-through of all 16 effects. Please enjoy and share! www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdiB... #Equipboard #Bosspedals #guitarpedals

Also, once you have the pedals you want loaded in, technically there's no need to connect the app after that. Just turn on and go!

Kevin Daoust @guitarswithkd.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

Having spent time with the pedal, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. No Roland Cloud subscription needed (though you do need to register to use the app, all of which is free), additional pedals will be available for a one-time fee (and are optional), and is a good swiss-army-knife pedal.

I just reviewed the Boss Sy-1 synthesizer pedal for Equipboard. Great think about it is that it tracks notes with the guitar’s pickups. Not entirely MIDI, but a bit of a gateway without hassle. youtu.be/YI8MHtmAplE?...

A song that I played on and produced. Worked with some killer musicians on this as well, including the lovely and talented Chanté! Have a listen! #americanamusic #countryrock youtu.be/1V6aZVjapJU?...

Because your tuner has a buffer, best to put the fuzz first in the chain. If you switch the buffer off on the tuner, you might get away with the fuzz after. Typical rule of thumb for fuzz is that it wants to see the guitar first and nothing else.

I have the non-MIDI version and love it!

Hi! Guitarist and guitar teacher here! Really cool sound! What’s the pedal?

If from the side of the stage, quite a bit. If a CD cost $5 to manufacture and sold for $20, it’s $15 in profit there.
