Let me ask you, do you already have someone working on the audio for your game?

I've only read Kafka's most popular works. I'll give that story a read.

Nice, the visuals look amazing! I'm curious about the Kafka, which book is it based on? Or in some concept he establishes? Like Metamorphosis?

Nice! Yeah, Balatro and Dice Dungeon, in particular, were roguelikes I played a lot.

Haha, really? Your references are super intriguing, I'm really excited to play it. I like some transport simulation games. The one I enjoyed the most was Rail Route, where you manage subway lines.

Haha, that's great. I think starting to share updates right from the beginning is a good idea. Personally, I really enjoy following the evolution of projects.

Nice, it reminded me a lot of Stray and Little Kitty, Big City.

I think so, I think you would need to create more elaborate sound scripts to better achieve the results that FMOD delivers. I have a couple of programmer friends who use Godot. I can give you their contact details so they can help you, if necessary.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch. I’ve done a lot of work with middleware on recent projects.

Wwise is less intuitive, but it offers more extensive features. Usually, FMOD handles all my needs, and its licensing is better suited for indie developers.

Well, it’s important for the composer/sound designer, after all, it serves as an interface where you can pre-program sound functionalities. Plus, it has a UI that’s very similar to a DAW, so you can easily configure things visually.

Yeah, I’ve worked on other projects using FMOD in Godot, and devs end up preferring to implement sound directly in the engine rather than using FMOD. It’s a shame that there’s only full support for Unity and Unreal.

Personally, yes, I really liked it. It seems like critics enjoyed it too, I remember hearing some gaming journalism podcasts praising it. It's worth looking into.

I thought the idea was brilliant, super creative. It reminded me a bit of Wheel World, maybe with a Sokpop-style aesthetic, haha. Actually, the only real similarity to Wheel World is the bicycle, they’re quite different games, haha.

Cool! You can clearly see the influence of what you mentioned in the game. And yes, I do work on soundtracks for indie games! Are you interested? If you want to send me a DM, we can chat more about it, what do you think?

Haha, of course. I played both of them a lot. Finishing the Warcraft 3 campaign was memorable, and well, playing Dwarf Fortress is an experience in itself, isn't it?
