Here's one for you. A French howitzer (I think) from the 1800s in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Part of a battery overlooking the entrance to the Saigon River for the defense of Saigon. It didn't help much... Taken over by new management in 1954 when the French lost Indochina, and again in 1975.

Arrest these terrorists immediately! Especially the dog! A photo of the reflecting pool in better times, before it became a crime to enjoy a public space.

An old, pre-Trump photo og the Reflecting pool in better days, with people freely wading in the non-algae infested waters, without fear of arrest. There is also a dog climbing out of the water, and even a guy with a bicycle in the pool. The water looks blue, and apparently clean of algae.

The last two times I went to the Australian War Memorial, specifically to see G for George again, unfortunately both times the aircraft hall was under renovation and closed to the public. Luckily, I'd visited before, and will hopefully visit again. One of the world's great museums.

Just watching "Who is America?" with Sacha Baron Cohen. Never seen it before. Best laugh I've had in ages. I'm very surprised I didn't know this series existed. Some great moments with some seriously stupid people. Just a shame that they are now ruling America.

Ground controllers are extremely important. Do not cut ANYTHING from the FAA. There is NO dead wood. The deadliest ever aircraft accident happened in Tenerife due to a lack of ground control. Two 747s collided on the runway, killing almost all passengers on both. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenerif...

A dramatic reenactment of the moment before a KLM and Pan Am 747 aircraft collided on the runway at Tenerife airport in 1977 killing 583 people.
The KLM 747 is just lifting off with very low visibility due to fog, as the Pan Am crosses the runway in front of it. Moments later, the KLM collides with the Pan Am.
Very similar in principle to the aborted landing in the video, although Tenerife had much lower visibility.

Trump is systematically disassembling any possible resistance to Russia. He is making the world weaker, and Russia stronger. Everything he does is just playing directly into Putin's hand. He's not just selling out America, he's selling out all of the democratic nations, in favor Russia.
