The "Festival de Musique de la Correrie" invited Xavier Colin to interpret his own compositions on piano, in the heart of the Bauges massif in Aillon le jeune, Savoie, France. No martial tunes on this July 14th! In 2022 a study revealed a precious decor painted in the 17th C

En ce 14 juillet 2026, Xavier Colin, interprétant au piano, ses propres compositions, embarque l'audience, lors du Festival de Musique de la Correrie, pour un voyage musical, qui n'a rien de martial. Merci Xavier pour ce périple! Bravo l'artiste!

DIABOLUS IN MUSICA: A bell tower quarrels between the Parish and the town council, plunges the team of the www.musique-patrimoine-mtblanc.com into the fog of uncertainty, leaving them without an answer. Board members of cultural affairs and cult affairs could not tune to the same pitch!

DIABOLUS IN MUSICA:
Sad news, but wise decision!
It's a shame that some petty bell tower quarrels between the Parish and the town council, plunges the team of the
Festival Rencontres Musique et Patrimoine du Mont-Blanc https://https://www.musique-patrimoine-mtblanc.com/
into the thick fog of uncertainty, leaving them, shortly before the opening, without an answer to the question
"Will the piano be able to remain in the choir for the duration of the concerts, as has been the case at each
previous edition since 2009?
It’s a pity that the board members of cultural affairs from Saint Gervais les Bains and those in charge of
the cult affairs from Saint Nicolas de Véroce could not tune their voices to the same pitch!
Dismaying for the Festival team, and the musicians, regrettable for the public, the festivalgoers,
the technical team, the music, and the patrimony!
A warm solidarity thought of support for Angélique Fourel and Nicole Simon Laroche, and their team, who,
together, worked tirelessly ahead of the opening of the event, on which the curtain has just fallen.
Could the intervention of a mediator, prior to the venue of an exorcist priest, have changed the issue?

Inside the St Nicolas de Véroce church. Flamboyant baroc decorum, from commissioned Italian artists, as a marketing response from the Catholic church, to it's neighboring Calvinist raising rival from Geneva.

URGENCE: Allo docteur!

Hello 911, my piano is totally out of wack!

Road block on la Colombiere mountain pass by the goats gang, on the way to the ultimate Pierre Lapointe show in France, before returning to la Belle Province, Canada. Pierre Lapointe is accompanied by the brilliant Piano Duo Fortin-Poirier. Bravo les artistes!

The Colombière mountain pass has just been opened to trafic. Probably due to the weather forecast, the road has been salted, which makes the delight of the artiodactyles gang

Steinway May days Yesterday, maintenance of a Steinway K. Today, old school biking the scenic stone paths to the Prieuré in Talloires, Tufts University European Center, to bring to pitch the Steinway O, which just came out of hibernation. Winter could be "fresh" in a large room, without any heat.

Stephan Eicher in Chamonix: Una corda piano designed to reduce loads: Structural load: 51 strings Piano movers' load: no lid, no top panel, no cylinders, no bottom panel; streamlined frame and bracing. Tuner's mental load: No struggle with stubborn unissons, despite the feeble sound definition.

Great and lively concert by the Gael Berlinger Trio on March 3d, 2026 in Val Thorens, altitude 2300 m. Conscious of the privilege it is, to be able to enjoy such a scenery, and work behind the curtain of this musical and joyful event, while wars are raging.
