"I'll just lay down for a second, then get back to doing things" is a lie I really need to stop telling myself.

I slept for so long after yesterday. And yet somehow it still feels like I didnt get enough.

It's been a long and exhaustingly stupid day. I did however, find an ancient artifact.

Update on the chemical spill: everything is still stupid. We may even be approaching new highs of stupidity for this place.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

First thing I see on a Monday at work is someone improperly handled a pallet of hazardous chemicals. Just spilled some in basically a line across the building. Its going to be a week.

Torturing myself by running a bunch of follower dungeons for decor. Man there is so much cool fel themed blood elf stuff in Murder Row that I would kill for.

My copy of Ryoko Kui's art book Daydream Hour finally came in, and since it is also Orctober I felt like it would be fun to highlight Dungeon Meshi's orcs. While WoW orcs will always be my favorite, I like how she took her own spin at Japan's usual pig-orc.

I really have no idea what Deadlock is besides that Valve is making it and I would die for Rem. Every time Rem comes across my feed, my day get a little bit brighter.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

For this October I will be drawing orcs for practice over the month. I don't know why, but I can draw them much easier than a regular human face. i probably won't post the drawings since they're just rough practice, but I'll also make posts about my orc characters when I have time.

My warrior largely has the perfect mog so I never make alt outfits for him. Instead I just have 6 of the same outfit where the back and weapons change between 1h axe, 2h spear, and now glaives. And I gotta say the glaives look really cool with the heritage back piece.

Best troll sword obtained. Now I can finally join the Atal-Mhuto. Would be nice to get some more updated troll shields though.

I'm going to need all of you beta players to post every angle of the Darkspear Isles now that it's live. I want to see what they've done with it design wise, why its a battleground, and if it feels possible that it could come to retail.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I thought today was Friday and I am devastated to learn it is only Wednesday. It's been a long and painful week so far.

160

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I want to talk about the Forsaken campaign but every time I get motivation I see someone else posting about how far they are and I don't want to spoil things. How the hell has bsky not made a spoiler feature? That seems like one of the easiest and important features a social media site could add.

000

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

The pain has thankfully subsided. Unfortunately work has not.

010

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

My body decided to be in random pain today, so yay. Usually I'd call off but I have a time sensitive project that needs to be done tonight, so I just have to suffer through it.

000

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Work was exhausting, was running a floor machine all day to the point where my bones feel like jelly from all the vibrating. But it's ok because I have THEM. (Sorry for the crappy photo but I'm way too tired to try right now)

0161

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

No one is going to be able to enjoy these while a known bigot is taking over Forever and breaking TOS constantly. It took a long time to build up good will again after the lawsuit. It's still not back to where it used to be. Don't let one jackass tear up all your efforts.

If Blizzard doesn't want to outright ban Asmon and his incels, they should make a secret server/shard and permanently stick them there. No communication outside of the bubble, nothing telling them it happened. Just do it quietly and let the fascists turn on each other like they always do.

1112

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Blizzard if you want the next billion dollar idea, make a HotS kart racer. You guys keep making them in WC3 so you're clearly open to the idea. And nows the time to strike since the last Mario Kart didn't take over the world like 8 did.

020

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Something came today. I can't open it until after work but I'm going to be thinking about it all day long.

I don't know what it is about housing, but it destroys my wrists more than any other activity in the game.

040

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I got super into housing again and lost track of time. Before I knew it 5 hours had past and I spent way too much gold. I might as well show some of it. Made a void pocket base to accompany the fel one. Going to replace the grass later. Bonus troublemakers I added to the fel world.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

No luck getting the first boss rushka helm so far. But I managed to make a friend in the process. (I feel a bit bad though because I outrolled someone else by 1 lol)

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Now that spooky month is almost here, I think I'm finally going to get to Control and Alan Wake 2. Maybe even Quantum Break. I love that whole universe, and I've had all of the games for a long time now, I've just been kinda lazy and easily distracted.

010

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Apropos to the cockroach and his alleged 30k member guild, I absolutely believe it's nowhere near that number realistically. Asmon got caught botting on his Twitch channel by a lot, and I bet it's artificially inflated on Forever too. That doesn't change what should happen though.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I was trying to find a good picture of the Forsaken apothecary unit to talk about why they should get the Tinker class but I couldn't find any. Instead I stumbled upon art in its purest form.

Every time I see a blue sky elf it feels like this meme, but their whole body instead of the eyes. They are just so incredibly blue.

070

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I wish there was a transmog for trinket effects. I'd love to keep the ability to summon Ula'tek on a whim long after this expansion.

Wolves in sheep's clothing 🐺🐑🐺 A gift for @skymagpie.bsky.social 💗 Our OC Constancia, bride of Mephisto and beloved Dedicant of "Akarat" 🩸❤️ #Diablo #DiabloIV #Diablo4 #Mephisto #NatothyArt

My digital Diablo 4 fanart of Constancia, a pale, blonde woman with blue eyes, and Mephisto in the body of Akarat, a tan, brown eyed older man with dark hair and gray streaks. She is wearing a red and white Zakarum nun's habit with golden accents. She is making a religious gesture with one hand, her other hand is resting on the man's shoulder. He is sitting on a stone throne and has one hand placed on the woman's arm. Behind his head is a red, demonic halo.

Asmon is rearing his ugly head again because WoW is one of the only places he can do so. He sucks at every other video game, and he can't stand the heat as a politics streamer now that Trump's bullshit is collapsing inward. If Blizz wants Forever to thrive, they need to cut him off ASAP.

Having ADHD is like having a demon whispering in your ear, but instead of getting you to do evil it's trying to make you pick up another hobby to hyperfocus on. No demon, I actually should not buy a 3d printer. Yes, it would be cool, but I don't have the time for it right now.

Me and a big orange cat jumpscared each other as I was coming home from work. Tried to get it to come over so I could see if it was a missing house cat or something but they ran off. Probably for the best because I would be very tempted to keep them.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I hope if they bring the surname feature to retail they let us opt out of it, otherwise a lot of my characters will be going by "XYZ Lastname".

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I can't do the "weirdest thing you ate as a child" thing because unfortunately I was the pickiest eater ever when I was young. The closest thing to weird was the 90's green and purple ketchup but that was probably just ketchup with food dye.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I really need to get started on doing mythic+ stuff for the blood serpent mount. My warrior is ilvl 309, should I start at a certain number or just start at 2 and slowly go up? Also what level of mythic+ is the requirement for the serpent mount?

110

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I have my criticisms of the story, but I can say that I'd prefer even the worst WoW writers to that Microsoft AI slop. Stop trying to force AI in creative fields and just hire a writer. It would cost you 1/100000th of the money they burn on useless AI.

I stepped on a wasp that was rolling around on my floor for some reason. It stung me right in middle side of my toe and it is excruciating. I think the pain also gave me a migraine somehow. Fuck.

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I want to talk about the Forsaken campaign, now that I've had time to sit with it. No spoilers, just general vibes and mechanical stuff. As well as what I hope this signals for the future of Warcraft.

121

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I have finished the Forsaken campaign. Short review: Absolute cinema. Long one will come as I ruminate on it a little more. But it reinforced my love for Warcraft. Please make one million more campaigns Blizzard, I will pay for them all.

071

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Finished Act 2 and the interlude of Forsaken Kingdom. My reaction is: Naxxramas can do that??

010

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I probably won't check out Forever until I finish the Forsaken campaign and the initial rush dies down a bit. Hope everyone has fun with it in the meantime. Very interested to see what comes out of it.

020

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

My personal Forsaken glup shitto is a major/playable character in this campaign and I could not be more happy.

061

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

The only real issues I have with Forever (though I haven't looked into it a ton), is the fear that gear/mounts/customizations, ect will remain Forever-only. Retail should get all of this stuff too in some way. Maybe throw them on the classic timewalking vendor.

3100

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Started act 2, but a combination of internet issues and accidentally dying set me back. That said, they do a really funny thing as a giant "fuck you" to racists and I take great pleasure in that.

110

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I have a lot of thoughts about the campaign and possible futures but I'll wait til I'm actually done to talk about it. But one thing I want to say is we should get both actual RTS campaigns and these Rexxar style ones. And a perfect candidate for the latter is Maraad surviving the Draenor genocide.

130

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I haven't even finished act 1 of the Forsaken campaign, but my estimate of the true size of the Undercity was somehow too small. Not only are there 5 floors and a complex sewer system, there is a ventilation system and catacombs that are both just as big as the aformentioned sewer.

140

GuardianPigeon @guardianpigeon.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Seems like you got this Valeera, I'll just sit over here until you decide to pull him out of the damage zone. (She never did and basically soloed him)

Figured out the source of my recent issues. Good news is it isn't my computer. Bad news is it's a regional ISP issue that Comcast has to solve, and they are notoriously shit and slow. Hopefully they fix it soon so I don't fall too far behind.
