Something @weisenthal.bsky.social didn’t mention is that the shirt has the Etihad front-of-shirt sponsor logo, as is obligatory.

![Q. Hi, CMOS editors: Would you hyphenate “five times” in “a five times increase”? And if so, would it be “five-times” or “five-time”?
A. We would write “a fivefold increase,” assuming you mean to say that something has grown by a factor of five (e.g., increasing from 10 to 50). And though you could say instead that this same thing grew to five times the original amount, “five times” isn’t normally used as a modifier in the way that “fivefold” is; “five-time increase” won’t work either, unless you mean that something increased on five separate occasions (which says nothing about how much it increased overall).
Another thing to keep in mind: A fivefold increase is 500 percent of the original, but it’s only a 400 percent increase, not a 500 percent increase. For example, 50 is 500 percent of 10 (or five times as much), but that’s an increase of only 40, which is 400 percent of the original 10.

![The Colonial Charter of 1908 did stipulate that French and Flemish would have equal grounding in the Congo and that the linguistic rights of the Flemings would be granted as in Belgium.[48] Prior to 1936, the Colonial Schools of Belgium had only instructed future settlers in French. Edmond Rubbens, the Minister of the Colonies, pushed for bilingual education and administration in the Belgian Congo and in October 1936, he managed to have a Dutch-speaking department opened in the Colonial Schools. There was even at a time a proposal for the Belgian Congo to be divided into Flemish and French-speaking provinces, largely pushed by the far-right, Vlaamsch Nationaal Verbond.[49]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:kowyosk2m56ibvwwi5vf32hz/bafkreihw7ddku4kduluh7z4yv3cn7rpom5mio6kao25g6imppishdlyqfi)
