How exhausted am I? Got home. Saw an empty energy drink at my desk. Grabbed it. Put it back in the fridge. Sat down. Realized I didn't get an energy drink from the fridge. Went back. Ended up grabbing the EMPTY one. Sat down. Was extremely confused when I attempted to drink it. So..... I'm tired.

If generative AI content cannot be copyrighted (especially if it's 100% AI), and more and more video games are using Gen-AI to make the game, even as far as to Gen-AI the coding... ...that would make "piracy" of the game not actually "piracy". <.< ...sure, there's more nuance there, but still...

Given the "drama" (quotes, because it's more expected really) involving a nazi con in the pony fandom, it should become more and more obvious why I chose to carve out my own corner of the fandom rather than try to fix it as a whole. It's still at day 1; Nothing got better, but somehow isn't worse.

As pathetic Gen-AI content and their "creators" are on this platform, it's still welcoming to sometimes see a real artist showing off their real painting and getting literally 50 to 100 times as many likes/reposts. We're talking, like, Gen AI with ~50 likes and real to 5k+. There's still hope.

So for the VGM cavern show I did this past weekend: Yes, it was all recorded. We had some issues with the audio console but we had ambient audio recorders that works. The audio is being mastered while I work on the video. No ETC just yet, but do know that we are working on it! ^.^

Completely redid my entire setup for Unity/Creator Companion so the "main" base model is its own project and I just add the new variants/outfits into that project. Look, I know that should've been done in the first place but it never worked XD Now it does, and now I have more outfits!

I think what depresses me more about this isn't that they used an online storage service that failed them, but rather that I can look behind me and see three drives that total over 50TB. If I, a lowly home user, can store 50TB with ease, why was it so hard for a *broadcaster* to locally do so?

I love this view most because it ACTUALLY shows too how people get these shots. The photogs/video crew are REALLY far away in this with high zoom lenses (looks like 400-600mm in the brief moment I can see them). This is absolutely the technique to make sky-things appear MASSIVE against people.

My timelines make perfect sense. Sometimes the adjustment layers are on layer 3. Or 2. Or 7. Sometimes both. And none. Along with the game content on 1, or 3, and 4 and 5, sometimes 2, never 7, and then there's the other layers that... Well I don't remember what they do, but they do be do.

It is a genuine hope.... a wish, even, that businesses who rely on generative AI go bankrupt sooner rather than later. Many companies have already learned these lessons the hard way. Anyone who uses Gen-AI is literally screaming "I don't give a ---- about anything, especially not my customers."

Good to know for future reference that Frontier Airlines is insanely bad. Canceled flight, hotel offered was several miles away, zero transit provided, reviewed as "dangerous location", and new flight is three days away. I'd rather have Spirit back.

Picked up a Quest Pro on eBay for next to nothing as it was reported "Bricked". Good news: It loads into Android perfectly fine, GFX and tracking tests seem fine, and even the OS loads well enough to see hand tracking working. Bad news: It's a Dev/Prod model and I can't find a Retail OS for it.

Still been catering my "Discovery" feed a bit. It is now about 70% dragons, 15% gaming, 10% horse, 4% randomness, and 1% obsession with unnatural objects having planetary orbits around them. I really don't know about that last 1%, but it is Bluesky, after all.

I have to have THE most mixed feelings on the "Physical Media" discussions. Aside from some Switch and Wii games, I haven't purchased physical media for games in ~20 years, really after getting on Steam. Steam has taken a few offline, but I rarely/never played them anyways, so no loss to me TBH.
