Drawing is fun! Parallax effects are cool! (I might spend the next two days scrolling up and down to look at the effect) #indiegame #rpg
Now that most features are implemented and I have some free time again, I've been adding more content. Keeping track of quest flags is a pain, but I'm pretty happy with my level editor now #indiedev #rpg #screenshotSaturday
I should have finally written new quests this week - instead I updated the battle controls to feel more active (drag the attack forwards to target an enemy! Drag back to defend against attacks!) and drew mutant mushrooms. That still counts as progress! #indiedev #screenshotsaturday #rpg
Inspired by this week's snowy weather (and Donkey Kong Country): overlay effects that can dynamically be changed by events in levels. The transitions are a bit rough but it'll do for now. #indiedev #screenshotSaturday #rpg #saga
After an adventure, your golems each get to keep a "memory", giving them bonus attributes. Different choices made during an adventure lead to different memories available. And memory combinations lead to class changes and additional bonuses! #screenshotSaturday #indiedev #rpg #levelup
Update of the week: allies that accompany you during quests no longer just sit watching you fight for your life, but now participate in battles. From time to time, that is. #indiedev #screenshotSaturday
In 2025, i'm finally wrapping up this SaGa RPG project, no matter what - so i'm forcing myself to post something on Saturdays, even if it's not that exciting. This week: a new region & town. Every JRPG must start in a small rural village, even in futuristic settings.

I'm making a mobile game inspired by Unlimited SaGa. Build golems out of odd spare parts and take them to explore dungeons full of monsters and traps! Guaranteed without roulette reels. #screenshotSaturday #indieDev #SaGa
