This is the biggest issue with "AI": it doesn't propagate the best solution, it propagates the most used solution/message/etc. in its inputs/trainingsdata. There is still no good way to prefer quality which is why it's so different from "raising" a model.

Boeren kunnen hun brood ook anders verdienen. Als Nederland straks grotendeels onder water staat door klimaatverandering kunnen ze hier toch niet meer boeren dus het lijkt me duidelijk wat de echte drijfveer is: pegels/kortzichtig eigenbelang, niet de traditie, kinderen of wat ze verder nog blaten.

Burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheid is geen anarchie. Het fundamentele verschil hier is dat de ene kant gaat over een existentiële dreiging tegen het leven, de andere een dreiging tegen het mogen uitvoeren van je beroep zoals jou dat uitkomt. Boeren maken daar een "existentiële dreiging" tegen hen van.

Ik ook niet. Als mensheid vergaat (de planeet kan wel wat hebben) dan mag je wat mij betreft een snelweg blokkeren, zeker als je het doet zoals XR. Je verdienmodel met dodelijke acties "verdedigen" vind ik onaanvaardbaar. Maar geld regeert, niet de leefbaarheid en dat zie je overal terug.

Why stop there? Get rid of the electoral college. Make D.C. and Puerto Rico states. Make a president and cabinet explicitly directly criminally liable and ineligible for office in at the very least cases of treason, corruption or sedition. Make lying in office for self protection illegal, etc.

After witnessing psychosis first hand, I believe mental state should be taken into consideration. Whether that is sufficient grounds for acquittal or reduced sentencing or an order to commit them to a psychiatric facility should be left to the legal system, not (social) media.
