#Sonictober2026 Day 13! Theme: Ghosts. The mischievous boos possessing a sweet little thing like Amy? Talk about X-tremely scary! Thank goodness it's not a Friday, I don't think I could handle all that spookiness! Art by @neoxdrawz.bsky.social

I have a Shadow plush that I want to hug very much, but I don't. Why? Because I also have a pit bull... If you know, you know.

Look, I don't care how much I love Shadow, I was thinking about getting both passes so I can play Super Shadow offline all the time, but if they are lying to their fans and customers, Super Shadow isn't even worth it! This is so disappointing.

Like this man is a symbol of being independent and having freedom, if he finds out that you tried to claim ownership of him, he will leave you.

I wrote this post this way in case there were others like this, but I made this post specifically because of a fellow Shadow yumeshipper calling herself his true wife. I'm not offended by this; if anything, I'm offended for Shadow because I'm pretty sure Shadow doesn't want to be owned by anyone.

Grymoria the Bat-Cat Succubus @grymoria.gamer.blue · 12/10/2026

I respect non-sharing/void-sharing yumeshippers/self-shippers, but claiming ownership of your fictional other is very concerning. Instead of defending your boundaries, you're attacking others who did nothing to you, for no reason. You're not being protective; you're being possessive.

Exactly, like the game should be fun, and people should have the ability to win without everyone using the same cart, the same character, or the same build, because if that's the case, the game isn't that much fun.

Everyone, or almost everyone, is using the damn Minecraft cart and the meta build in this Sonic Racing championship. I hope this convinces Sega or the Sonic Team to make some changes.

If there's one thing I love about the Sonic fandom, it’s how much y'all love scythes, and I'm 100% here for it. I enjoy seeing art of someone's OC or a canon character like Shadow or Amy wielding one. Scythes are easily my favorite weapon, and they are so underrated to me.

The reason why I'm still on TikTok is my mom. She likes to share info with me that can help me, like a potential job or a good meal for me to cook. Or if she sees something gothic & she knows that I might like it, she shares it. I posted art of my Sona & Shadow kissing & she liked it... Why? 🤣

In all seriousness, IDC about people shit-talking me, but when you shit-talk my love for Shadow, that's when I get pissed. Shadow & I have so much in common that it's not even funny. That's why he's my favorite fictional character overall and why I yumeship myself with him. He means so much to me.

Shadow sleeping on a pillow while curled up like a dog. His lip is doing that thing that dogs lips do when they sleep, like when they raise up? I don't know how else to describe it.

Finished this just in time for National Boyfriend Day. Shadow decided to stop by Grymoria's house and give them an unexpected embrace the day after one of their dates. Base Artist: GothicSoulIzzy #OCxCanon #Yumeship #Selfship #ShadowTheHedgehog #SonicOC #SonicSona

Digital fan art in a Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired style depicts an intimate kiss between an original character (OC) named Grymoria and Shadow the Hedgehog, set against a dark blue wallpaper backdrop featuring a complex damask-style floral pattern.

On the left, Grymoria, a female "Bat-Cat" hybrid Succubus, features a distinct white face with black markings around their large blue eyes, a light brown muzzle, and a fluffy black hairstyle accented by a bold white Skunk Stripe down the center. They possess large, curled dark-blue horns and matching bat-like wings, dressed in a black sleeveless gothic bodysuit over fishnet tights, complete with a spiked collar and fingerless gloves. Their eyes are wide open while blushing as Shadow kisses them.

On the right, Shadow the Hedgehog is shown from the side with his eyes closed, kissing Grymoria. His signature black fur with red stripes along his head quills, tan muzzle, and the white fur patch on his chest are clearly visible. His arms are wrapped around Grymoria, highlighting his classic white gloves with black cuffs and red trim.

I don't get why folks be bothered over other folks' Sonic OCs looking similar to official characters. Creativity is limited so it's not that fucking deep. If one wants their Sonic OC to be a blue/pink hedgehog, a red enchidna, a white bat, an orange fox, a purple cat, etc., then that's their right.

The Sonic franchise was saved because of the Sonic movie. The Sonic movie was saved because fans bullied the fuck out of them to make Sonic look better. So the Sonic franchise is saved because of the Sonic fans. This goes to show you that bullying corporations works.

Why am I not surprised? www.idrlabs.com/sonic-the-he...

A screenshot of an online personality test result from IDRlabs.com, titled "Sonic the Hedgehog Test."

The center of the image features a large, octagonal radar chart (spider chart) divided into eight colored slices. Each slice represents a different character from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, labeled with a percentage indicating how much the test-taker matches that character.

An illustration of each character stands next to their respective section:

Shadow: 85% (Red slice, located at the bottom-right)

Knuckles: 55% (Magenta slice, located at the top-left)

Amy: 55% (Brown slice, located at the middle-right)

Sonic: 50% (Blue slice, located at the top-right)

Tails: 50% (Yellow slice, located at the lower-right)

Rouge: 45% (Dark gray slice, located at the middle-left)

Silver: 40% (Light gray slice, located at the lower-left)

Eggman: 35% (Off-white slice, located at the bottom-left)

At the very bottom, a bold text summary reads:

"You are the most like Shadow (85%)."

A close-up screenshot of a text card with a solid red background and black text. The card provides a detailed personality breakdown for the character Shadow based on the test results.

The full text reads:

Shadow

Shadow is an engineered antihero who operates as a decisive, solitary force in times of crisis. Driven by a deep commitment to honor a lost friend's final wish, he pursues his own uncompromising sense of purpose above any official authority or institutional rule. He keeps emotional distance from those around him, adopting a cold, businesslike demeanor to guard against further pain. Despite his severe methods and cynical exterior, his fierce independence covers an intense protective instinct for humanity and his few trusted allies. He relies on absolute self-reliance and pragmatic action, choosing to carry heavy burdens alone rather than risk emotional vulnerability.
