It's kind of insane just how many references there are in Control Resonant - you think previous remedy games have worn their inspirations on their sleeves, you're not even ready

Played some Fright Train this week - a new survival horror release that almost passed me by and I feel people are sleeping on! It's got a really great inventory and reloading system, a cartoony visual style and a real sense of what makes the genre great - with a roguelike twist!

Thoughts on #residentevil? As everyone is and will be saying, it's great - Cregger dials up the humour to create an atmosphere that lets the viewer accept the insane things that get put on screen, it's got great music, a rock-solid script that starts at full speed and never slows down, and is FUN!

The most random double bill of my life at Bristol Megascreen, but a great night out - Gorgo (1961) followed by The Lighthouse (2019) Couldn't be more tailored to me Especially appreciated the great intro to Gorgo by @stevensloss.bsky.social - definitely had me approaching the film differently

Went to go see Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma at @wshed.bsky.social earlier this week and not only did the movie rule, so did the party afterwards!

Been out for like a month now but I think ESO's werewolf rework might have made it one of my favorite versions of werewolf in a game.

Still thinking about MetalNeck's Godzilla: Black Mass weeks after reading it, my mind has been drifting into what I'd want to do with a film adaptation and what that'd look like - easily one of my favorite pieces of fan media I've ever engaged with, it's so good - can't wait to see more

000

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 04/05/2026

I still don't know why every game doesn't have a photo mode, I should be allowed to play dolls with every game I play. Anyway the Fatal Frame 2 remake is good so far

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 30/04/2026

I can't lie, I am so in, if anyone can do something cool with Resident Evil it's Zach Cregger

I need to talk about Hoppers for a minute - whilst I don't think it's the best movie ever, I think so much of the 'discourse' around it is very faux-intellectual and clearly based in both a bias against Disney (which is fair) and an inability to recognise when your expectations have been subverted

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 02/03/2026

Extremely exciting mail day today...

I've been trying to whittle down all the games I've played during Steam Next Fest to my favorite 4 - BUT IT'S SO HARD Here's what I've got right now

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 26/01/2026

Been so busy this month I completely forgot about this! And now it's totally sold out!!! Actually a bit upset about this, two of my favourite things together - at least the online shop should open soon...

000

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 20/01/2026

Was obsessed with the demo, have had it open basically constantly since full launch!

Between Goodnight Universe and Before Your Eyes, I'm convinced that the people over at @nicedreamgames.com are sick and twisted and wish only for my suffering (I just beat GU and it's easily one of the best games of 2025, incredible game)

I constantly want to move my home server to Linux because Windows just is not a good place to be running it from, but literally the only thing holding me back is that services like Moonlight/Sunshine just aren't as good as Parsec - I would switch to Linux immediately if Parsec got hosting support...

High quality Leon's anybody? Resident Evil Requiem can't com quick enough...

I am predictably losing my mind over Control Resonant - it looks like if Remedy made a sequel to Ghostwire: Tokyo

010

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 06/12/2025

The Mall level in Routine goes too far actually because this introduce this amazing little guy then kill one of them off and as he dies he says 'please don't leave, we are friends'

Here's a little thing I made for FGS that the schedule sadly didn't allow for - I can't wait to play more and more and more and more and more and more of this game! #horror #horrorgame #gaming #totalchaos #gamingnews

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 21/11/2025

The remake of Total Chaos shadow dropped last night and I got surprised by a package arriving at my door full of little bits and bobs themed to the game! Thanks to @apogeeent.com this is awesome!

If they start putting this shit all over the parks I think it might actually break me

000

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 13/11/2025

I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER I CAN TAKE THIS, GUYS

110

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 05/11/2025

Like, when Disney gave one and a half BILLION dollars to Epic and announced that with THIS GRAPHIC My mind was ABUZZ with ideas of a unique virtual Disney Park within Fortnite and what that could be like Hopefully this will be the start of that kind of thing coming to the game..

000

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 05/11/2025

You may not know this (I never shut up about it) but I'm a big Studio Theme Park fan, so finding out that this is releasing in Fortnite in literally two days has me bouncing off the walls

120

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 29/10/2025

Alright, now onto the Switch 2 stuff, Not only are they releasing a nice-looking Switch 2 Pro Controller themed to Requiem, they're also doing a Requiem amiibo AND a swanky trilogy collection that I hesitate to call 'physical' because it's all download codes, but still!

000

J. 'Possum' Lloyd @gryith.online · 29/10/2025

First I'll go over the stuff that isn't Switch 2 related, because A LOT of this presentation was about the Switch 2 - They're doing a deluxe edition, pre-orders, releasing on the Epic Games Store for the first time, AND giving you Requiem content in Fortnite if you pre-order on Epic
