scorpio - bruja perfume lab now this?? love it. scorpio is my rising sign so i obviously had to try it. this has a more cologne-like opening than i’m used to but dries down to an unusual cherries-and-laundry scent that i really enjoy. i’m excited to wear this more in warmer months!

man eater - bruja perfume lab dark sexy fruity! the vanilla and smoke are definitely in the background on this but they do ground it and keep it from smelling like shampoo. perfectly named: it smells like a seductive 90s vampire who feasts on unsuspecting men. i just wish it was a little stronger!

super milk deserves the attention but i need to speak up for my girl candy rain…! i originally tried it when i worked at lush bc it doesn’t have sulfates but the SMELL. sweet slightly woody tonka and it lasts in your hair for days. (caution: might be too thick for some hair types and contains nuts)

whorechata - bruja perfume lab mmmm yum yum YUM! takes a second to settle into the skin but once it does it’s so comforting. milky sweet with a little woods and musk. i’ve never smelled blanche bete but based on what i’ve seen people say about it i have to imagine this smells similar.

paimon - fantôme idk how they made the hot sands note but it’s definitely in there as well as the parchment. it literally smells like hot paper and spices 😭 the vanilla comes through as it dries down which helps, but i don’t think this one is for me.

kinmokusei - fantôme a citrus you can wear all year round! the amber brings a warmth that keeps it from being super bright, but the warmth also makes me think of drinking a fruity cocktail on the beach. i definitely want a larger size.

arashiyama - fantôme so lovely! smells like you’ve just put on a clean bathrobe after taking a shower in a REALLY nice hotel. fresh and lightly floral. i look forward to wearing this in hot weather to pretend i’m not sweating buckets.

delicious little sl*t - bruja perfume lab in the sampler and on paper this smells really nice, but i had to wash it off when i tested it on skin. i think i just have to accept that my body chemistry and orange blossom don’t mix. it overpowers every other note and gives me a headache :(

this smells like making mochi with my family every year! pulls super ricey and bean pastey on me. i’m really impressed with how accurate the smell is, esp the “glutinous” rice rather than just a plain rice note. it’s not my fave to wear (i wish the sweet notes came through) but i’m glad it exists 😁

nuit tatami by kenzo pink pepper. it’s like only pink pepper for an hour and then the vanilla starts to show up. i might have to try to get this into a spray atomizer rather than a dabber to see if that makes it better but as of right now it’s a no from me dog

first up is yawahada by j-scent! i find this to be a less offensive version of not your baby by phlur. the pear doesn’t show up on my skin, it’s mostly powder and florals. the sandalwood and amber keep it from going full baby wipes. not a love for me, but i can see lots of ppl liking it!
