Lastly, I've been motivated to buying discs again after Playstation's announcement of ending discs in 2028. So been collecting Playstation, Xbox and Switch games! Also brought a PC handheld and its so good to play my Steam, Xbox and emulated games on the go!

If wondering what cards, its Digimon Card Game. An obvious focus is getting all the volcano-themed Digimon.

Got to see one of our drones in action, which is the one I requested to get aerial photos of the location of groundwater flooding. Certainly helped confirmed that the river isn't flooding at least 😅

After rescheduling 3 times, finally visited the River Ash (Middlesex) (have to specify which one because there is also a River Ash in Hertfordshire) yesterday. Chilly day but all good.

Sorry been busy with post-flood activities. Went to speak with people impacted directly last week to see how they're doing and how to assist. Archery going good, now a 1st Class Indoor Archer and on my way to becoming a 3rd Class Indoor Bowmen.

Continuing to do site visits to the rivers in London. Yesterday was the River Roding. Had to postpone visits to the Lower River Lee, so will be back! Heading to the River Ash (Middlesex), in a couple of weeks.

Forgot to share latest #volcanoesinvideogames find! This time Tales of Arise. Inside a volcano (naturally), with a video game's signature lava falls which are not as frequent in real life as they are made out to be.

Still trying to figure out my archery problem (and coach and I think we know the answer) but I still look pretty cool regardless.

My friend in the club who shoots sitting down because of his disability leant me a spare slightly flimsy but colourful stool and it went pretty well! Will practice with a further distance next weekend as busy this weekend! (My sibling turns 30!)

Turns out I really like collecting badges? Blue badge is scoring 252 (exactly!) at 40 yards and the Warwick red is scoring more than 335 points in a Warwick 40. A Warwick 40 is 2 dozen at 40 yards and 2 dozen at 30 yards (one turn at 30 yards shot today shown!) 😊🏹

*General Grievous voice* These will make a fine addition to my collection. Warwick black badge for scoring 297 or more in a single round (this one was for the Warwick 30: 24 arrows at 30 yards and 24 at 20 yards) and the (Outdoor) Third Class badge is scoring 332 or more 3 times for a Warwick 30!

We got a proper Robin Hood today from one of the club members demoing for our ‘have a go’ day! (Luckily they were club arrows but the arrows are not made anymore 😅) 🏹🎯

First attempt at 40 yards, this was probs my best round. Bit tricky for me to get distance as have to be careful with my draw weight due to my arthritis, but at least figured out how to get them all on! Personal best of 169 to try and beat now 😄🏹

Anyway, speaking of not shutting up about Archery. I realised when doing the clout it can be hard to distinguish your arrows from others, so I brought personalised wraps! Would need them if I ever decide to enter competitions anyway, so might as well start early!

Very good archery weekend for me: on the Saturday got my 252 20 yards (white badge) and then Sunday participated in my first Clout and came 2nd place! A clout is shooting your arrows into the air aiming for a flag in the ground, get points for being in a circle near the flag 😄🏹

My friend brought her own place and moved into it a couple of days ago. I asked what kind of housewarming gifts do they accept and they said they didn’t know. So I found something useless that will only clutter up their space.

Well it happened, I was slightly disappointed by Dave the Diver. Dr. Bacon is an archaeologist but clearly hasn’t brushed up on his volcanism knowledge.

No volcanism in Dave the Diver (that I know of so far!) BUT still good unintentional (or intentional, I don’t know!) scicomm with info cards and load screens with facts about the various sea creatures you can encounter 🐠🐡🐟🦈🦑
