Found the on the r/fednews reddit site. No idea how true this statement is, but the "test" emails I can verify are absolutely true as I have received them (and duly ignored them as they are not signed or from a verified, legal source).

If you want to know how fascism happens, this is the book to read. I grew up in Germany. This is the story real Nazis told me about how Nazism happened. They voted for it, willingly, freely, enthusiastically via democracy. They were deceived. One told me "in the end, fascism came for us all".

I grew up in Germany as a military brat. I know real Nazis. What they told me about how Nazism happened then is eerily similar what we have seen since 2016. Ask me anything. A landlord we had (91-94) said this to me: "in the end, fascism came for us all". Highly recommend the book pictured.
