So many bands at it on new albums too. Screenshot from the latest Paradise Lost. The Precipice is meant to be the last track. And it sounds like it. Then there's too more tracks. Which are fine. But aren't part of the flow. I often remove extra tracks from the playlist when starting an album.

Last night my son (17) asked to try some astrophotography while we were meteor watching. Instead of my usual mirrorless camera setup I decided we'd use our phones instead. You can get surprisingly good results with a phone on a tripod.

Because Microsoft Flight Simulator simulates the movement of the moon and the sun, the eclipse naturally occurs. Here's tonight's from Dorset, as I've moved the clock in the sim forward.

Tomorrow is the first day of a week's annual leave for me. I did wonder what I was going to do with it. I think I might just listen to Draconian's In Somnolent Ruin on repeat. Easily my album of the year so far. Every member of the band at the top of their game. What a beautiful record.

New pedal for "teh brutalz". Why didn't I get the new Boss X-S1 instead? Well that's a lot more expensive. And I only needed the downtuning functionality. I don't need a digital capo (or physical capo), because I can actually play guitar. 😉

I was completely wrong about the ray tracing in #ForzaHorizon6. The RTGI makes a huge difference to the game's presentation. Absolutely gorgeous game, Playground is a top tier developer.
