The Dept of Ed exists literally because the states (especially the southern ones) refused to educate everyone. Conservatives have been against education for all since the Civil War. Get to know your history. There's a lot of racism in conservative policies that they want re-implement.

I remember when the right wing extremists would scream at school boards w/ no repercussions. But a woman speaks up to defend her reproductive rights & Medicaid is attacked by an unmarked "security" goon squad. Law enforcement can't be trusted to enforce fairly & men can't be trusted to defend women.

Richland Washington's mayor, just a few days before Musk's goon squad enacted a massive layoff that impacts her community. Did she apologize? No. She got on extreme right podcasts & doubled down while Richland's economy is at risk. Hope she gets voted out in the next round of elections too.
