I am not a professional historian, but one of the things that sparked my interest in history was reading Rifles For Watie in middle school.

Cy, my son’s dog when he was growing up, did not like thunderstorms and would sometimes try to hide behind the curtains. He did love snow.

A chocolate lab with gray on his muzzle “hides” from a thunderstorm behind a dog bed. He has stuck his head behind a curtain, but then looked up so the curtain drapes down over his head and neck as his eyes peer out.

It was an early #Caturday morning in our house because of this asshole thinking he needed attention. Then when I went to make the bed, he’d crawled back in and was sleeping. Woke him up by taking his picture.
