The vast majority of those who were Nazis in Germany got away with it and their history was whitewashed until it started to come out in the 60s and 70s. The youngsters were shocked by the reality of their grandparents’ actions or inactions. I suspect there will be few court cases in US in 2029.

I’ve had over 70 years speaking English. I have degrees and qualifications far beyond my intelligence. A major joy is reading, everything from high literature to pulp fiction. So utilising my high IQ knowledge of the best of words, all I can say in response to Trump is ‘just shut the fuck up.’
