Not to drag people down, but sometimes death is necessary to close out a long trauma. Found out my 'adoptive' father passed away a few days ago. I don't miss him. I don't weep for him. I'm glad. He's the reason why I'm in therapy for SA and abuse. I'm glad he's gone. Hope he enjoys hell.

Just a heads up for my Washington state peeps: The weather overnight is going to be pretty ugly out around 7pm-ish. They're saying winds could gust up to 60mph with 35mph sustained! This means plenty of potential for power outages ON TOP of potentials for more flooding/landslides! Please be safe!

I don't do that, but I recently moved back to Tacoma, WA after about 15 years. It has changed, but sadly, not for the better in quite a few cases. They're trying, but a Fred Meyer closed in a prime location recently and it's going to get worse. Olympia is now gentrified, but I guess better?

Lost my job a couple months ago. Have to interview via phone to get snap benefits. Everytime I call, it's a MINIMUM of a two+ hour hold time. It used to only be around 30 minutes.
