On a whim I decided to go to Kofu, a couple hours to the west in the mountains. Got a lot just out of staring out the window on the train. Also went to a restaurant run by a guy who lived in Portland for 29 years. Seeing all that nature and getting out of the tokyo bubble for a bit did wonders

Shoulder press day done The top of the gyms squat rack is slightly too low, so if I explode up doing these presses the bar crashes against them really loudly. Forces me to be more slow and deliberate No way to do preachers so I tried concentrated dumbbell curls

I finally got back to the gym. Surprisingly I was able to do the bench routine exactly where I left off without changing any weights, although I couldn't finish the last two volume sets. Probably will have to drop for the other moves though
