I also remember some Tori bootleg back in the day where she says of a venue curfew: "they'll charge me thousands of dollars if I go over and I've got thousands to lose" or something like that

They've been a thing at some venues for awhile: when I saw Bright Eyes in 2003 the venue cut power to the stage 8 songs into the set because of a "curfew". I've been to many concerts there that went later, it was v weird (they claimed it was because there were so many minors)!

I checked all my shows today to see what's left vs presale and the Platinum prices are obscene--seats next to mine are now 3x what I paid 😡. There are plenty of available normally priced seats further back so I hope people don't give in & pay that, & then hopefully the prices will go down!

After looking at this way too much, I think the shadow below the dragon head on the left of Tori is supposed to be Tr*mp (from the side, hate that I recognize that). In which case there would be an actual reason for the oversized clothes (in this instance only!), to make her closer to that shape

It filmed in England as in the country, which is why weird not to mention when they are clearly trying to be like the Great British Baking Show

In ep 2 the Baked With Love prize was upped to include "a chance to have one of their bakes featured in a Countdown to Christmas movie," but I'm a few eps behind & don't know if it is/which movie. Also I read a contestant interview that revealed it filmed in England! Never mentioned in show so far

I feel like Gerwig's was intentionally made as a supplement to the 1994 one--I really like it as that rather than as a standalone. The 1994 one is so ingrained in me considering Gerwig's alone isn't possible (while 1994 immediately surpassed the 1949 version I'd watched repeatedly as a small child)!

Yeah, and the audience seemed to laugh at the censoring with at least one of the changes (when Dan said "flying fig"), unless people normally laugh at that line uncensored

I wondered if maybe PBS isn't allowed to air swears--I just googled and found that they can't just beep if a show airs before 10 pm, they have to "digitally obscure" profanity. Too bad they don't have an uncensored version on streaming!

IDK if color blindness is really considered a disability but there was also the super ableist/problematic The Most Colorful Time of the Year. It, Noel Next Door, and My Christmas Guide all shared a director and writer--I was glad they improved by My Christmas Guide!

They have that on Peacock, though (that's where I watch live), so maybe they have a contract with them that doesn't allow live premieres on Hallmark+ too? I'd assumed the Peacock thing was ending when Hallmark+ launched and was so confused when it didn't

He & his family and she & her coworkers were seated by each other in a restaurant. They had a cute moment during dinner, then when she overheard that his family forgot his bday cake she offered to split hers. They wished at the same time: she wanted to be on the dance show & he wanted a small farm
