the world needs more guinea pig cartographers

A guinea pig cartographer works amongst his maps, using his instruments, with a quill and ink next to him on a wooden table; he looks at the viewer obliquely with a black background in a style that is reminiscent of early modern portraiture. The artist enjoys exploring the histories of art through homages to previous paintings in his whimsical works.
