(day 11: rescue) Bit of a mess, but I guess you can't cling onto perfectionism every day. Somewhat fitting for Junk Man really, I think #inktober #inktober2026 #megaman #junkman

Junk Man from MM7, sitting down (i think), carefully cleaning one of the cockroach enemies from his stage yknow the ones

The pose is kinda crusty and not very readable but that's on me.

(day 10: mystical) Big whoop. Yeah sure. Insanely mysterious and scary. #inktober #inktober2026 #scalie #dragon

Lizard (me) ""witch"" in an outventure jacket.

Look one of these prompts had to be a self-insert eventually.

(day 9: ram) I'm a lil bit lazy so here's a (somewhat) quick study of Aaron Donald. I mean, that's one prominent ram. #inktober #inktober2026 #nfl #rams

Aaron Donald sketch done by a gel pen. Also a dinky-ass lil ram with a snarky comment on Rams in 2026 which i hope doesn't age badly.

Ah well we won the superbowl last year its ok anyway

(day 8: stinky) Nothing present in this image can possibly smell okay #inktober #inktober2026 #scalie #eel

Andras, unidentifiable eel-adjacent spawn. on the phone

In the middle of a swamp like that one image of a guy with a whole desk setup you know the one.

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

(day 7: panic) The real panic here was being really unsatisfied with this one and redoing it completely. Onto the next one Still not completely satisfied. I haven't given a name to this guy either. #inktober #inktober2026 #furry #avian

Unnamed office worker heron character really having to multitask

060

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

(day 6: ogre) It's 2026 and I had to resort to homestuck. Remember when homestuck had like imps and ogres and whatnot? No you don't #inktober #inktober2026 #homestuck

Crude ogre from homestuck. Yknow, like the imps but big.

I also didn't know how to pull off the pose with smashing the ground so it looks more like he's smashing something at desk height. Sorta. I hope that makes sense

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

(day 5: smack) Smack as in like. Talking smack. That counts, right? Why am I explaining myself, I'm supposed to be doing whatever! This doesn't matter!! Well the "bullying a random bystander" angle could use more expression work, yeah. #inktober #inktober2026 #scalie #toad #eel

Zinovya (frog (toad)), Andras (eel (?)), collectively shittalking someone offscreen.

Well ok Zinovya seems way too excited about it.

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Haven't done anything digital in color in a while. Threw this together before sleep. I do not know how to render metal whatsoever! Also finished MM7 this week! Marrow furnace for Dr Wily. Now #megaman #burstman

Burst Man and a Met HELPLESSLY TRAPPED in an IMPENETRABLE BUBBLE to everyone's sheer HORROR

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

(day 4: cactus) Very ugly weird cactus that we have at home. Why did they invent this #inktober #inktober2026

Cactus sketch, except the cactus is like... several dozens small cacti? I don't know what specific kind of cactus this is. It's whatever

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

(day 3: miniature) Bit early. Model car that has been sitting on the top of my desk definitely gotta count as something miniature. As I'm typing this Fourmaux is in the second place in Rally Italia! Unless I'm actively jinxing the team right now. I mean it's Hyundai, so #inktober #WRC #hyundai

Sketch of Adrien Fourmaux's rally car. Well, 1:16 model of the actual car. That's still car

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

(day 2: relic) If i want to do self-indulgent ocean scenery stuff like this is necessary #inktober

Old chest underwater. That counts as a relic! Ok I think there isn't even anything left in the chest, is it really a relic at that point

050

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

(day 1: apple) Trying to get out of my comfort zone. Hope I can get far enough into this! I mean the amount of trees I've ever tried to draw is really not a lot. #inktober

Crusty-looking apple tree in a garden. I think apple trees look like that. It's been a while

040

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Been playing MM7 and i just kinda like the guy. Trying to get a grasp on megaman designs feels tough but that's life #megaman #burstman

Burst Man sketches (from Megaman 7). There's been some attempts at coloring

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Her ass does not know who Fatboy Slim is. #toad #frog #scalie

Zinovya the horrid middle-aged frog again. Loudly on the phone. Wearing the "I'M #1 SO WHY TRY HARDER" tshirt, y'all know the one.

040

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Haven't even made up a name for this guy yet. He's very, *very* obviously inspired by all of YMO and also by Sparks a little bit. Design-wise the "poster" prolly has issues, I'm no designer for sure, but it was a fun experiment. You gotta have fun with it, right

030

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I DON'T KNOW, I COULD BE WRONG BUT IT SEEMS TO ME IT'S ALL GONNA WORK OUT #poster #furry #hare

Dapper-looking unnamed hare OC in a poster kinda design. Lyrics from Yukihiro Takahashi's "It's Gonna Work Out" shamelessly pasted in the background

Zinovya, normal morning I've been trying to force myself to do draw on paper and it's been a struggle but you gotta do it. #toad #frog #scalie

Zinovya (oc, middle-aged toad woman (the frog one. not the mario one)). Having a completely adequate reaction to waking up any earlier than like, 2 PM. Am i projecting here? Surely not

Making a big ol' pinned post for once. Hi, I'm Jade! Or J. Etc. Amateur hobbyist artist, hoping to keep working towards getting better. Hope to connect to more people on here; do feel free to reach out. Don't have much else going on here at the moment! But we'll see. #furryartist (...mostly?)

Lizard with horrid posture and a graphic tablet. Hi. That's me

060

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Quick (sorta) photo studies. These are both rough in different ways and I'm not exactly happy with them, but they can't all be winners can they. Just like the Williams torture labyrinth this year! #f1 #art #carlossainz #alexalbon

Carlos Sainz photo study. Color balance is a bit off, I think. He also looks sorta shellshocked, but honestly every single photo of him in 2026 sorta looks like that, so

Alex Albon photo study. This is definitely noticeably *off*, although I think I got the eye shape right. Texture and colors seem to be better here though

( #artfight 2026 ) Attack on @batgalitz.bsky.social featuring their frog librarian Nemi! Cursed to hear random passersby at 2 am I think artfight somehow just led me to a lot of different frogs. #frog

Nemi, frog librarian, standing in a terribly-lit library corridor, actively hearing someone out of the view despite her wishes

J. @groundlessoceans.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

Delightful filmmaker gremlin. #artfight 2026 attack on mimisues (@mimi.sues on instagram) featuring their cryptid Braxie. #alien

Flatwoods-inspired alien Braxie staring down a butterfly; in an attempt to get maybe like 10 seconds of wildlife footage. Hopefully. Come think of it, this doesn't look like a camcorder, this is just a normal camera. I didn't think this through. We can just say that alien camcorders look like that.
