Dementia absolutely sucks. Constantly waiting for a call. Hoping he isn’t suffering. Having to plan for a funeral without being able to ask him what he’d want. Having to plan for a funeral at all. I think I underestimated how hard it would be on the family :(

My eldest finishes primary this year and she’s been lucky enough to have one of those teachers that you’ll never, ever forget. He went above and beyond to ensure her success, both academically and personally. I’m not ready for this academic year to end!

I’ve been dabbling in some DIY since I bought my flat. Last year I replaced the sink and the tiles were too high so this weekend I replaced the tiles all by myself and added a new mirror. I’m SO pleased with this, I think it looks pretty profesh (also I’d never done any DIY before my divorce 😱)

My eldest (nearly 11) received quite a traumatic injury at school today. One emergency dentist trip and her entire front tooth has been decimated and we’ve been referred to Guys. I just feel so sad for her (she’s blissfully unaware of what this means for the next few years of dental care)
