what we currently have is zero complex, it's a temporary solution while we finish everything (no shade and very biased but) the custom algo stuff will be much more sophisticated in terms of the underlying technology being used and the general effectiveness

i have my own list: - ceo of bsky is a woman (finally ffs) - in future if we want to move to different server we can take our data and followers with us - team is responsive, open and accessible - people can comment directly in github - team so far feels very rational and not impulsive
