I miss when movies could just fail on their own merits without being part of some bigger message about a wider cultural zeitgeist. My opinions about Tom Cruise are complicated but I know enough about his filmography that just having him in a movie doesn't automatically merit box office gold.

Fembrane, the thief whose form was mutated into macroflora; with a body consisting of a gelatinous membrane filled with a slimy, aloe-like plant matter, she's capable of slipping through most any hole or crevice, hold objects or people equal to or in excess of her own body weight, and even excrete her slimy biomass as a lubricant for various purposes.

Most notably however is her ability to split herself via mitosis into a copy of herself, able to split into any number of duplicates provided she has sufficient biomass to generate a sufficient new membrane. At first, these duplicates act with little more than the instinct she possesses at their creation, often doing little more than fighting or fleeing as she is. With time however, the copies take on more self-awareness and self-preservation, eventually forming into all-together separate entities from the original.

I'd argue that as someone with a wide variety of very eccentric and specific tastes, they couldn't even cater to me if they wanted to. I see them constantly fail at my vanilla kink (hose-induced belly inflation); I have zero confidence they'll somehow manage to figure out any of my "weirder" ones.

Update: I got a case of the Cherry Lime Rickey. I'm still upset how it tastes predominantly of pear juice (even while acknowledging the low cost makes it the primary ingredient)... very disappointing for a fan of cherry and lime.

Sure I have, and it can absolutely satisfy the itch when you need pizza now and you're on the road. But in my experience, pretty much every chain pizza has a core problem with the crust itself: At best, most of them just taste like wonderbread. I crave that yeasty complexity in my pizza dough.
