Today I had a presentation for a small gathering about what tools we use as iOS developers. I mentioned that if somebody finds it interesting I am always looking for people to help me with projects. I was then asked why I don’t use AI for that. Bitch, because I want to give jobs to people.

Making example apps for open source libraries is super difficult to me, because you really have to think about how you want to explain a somewhat non-trivial problems in as-easy-as-possible manner while making sure the example makes sense.

I requested the iOS 27 update, but instead my phone started downloading 26.7 at which point it locked me in a state where I have to install it before it allows me to update to 27. Great start, not gonna lie 😁

I just had something I needed to iron out with our internet provider and the person on the other side was super sweet and helpful, but I had to get through their AI voice assistant first before they allowed me to speak to a real person, and now I understand how my grandma feels about self checkout.

If you have a Mac you can just use the passwords app. It’s perfectly fine now. It has the family sharing, the one time token. It works. You don’t need an extra app for this never mind paying a subscription fee. Save that money and donate it to whatever is your local version of the ACLU instead.
