I was watching an reel for a Stuffed Pepper recipe. After soaking the rice, dicing and sautéing the onion and garlic, and mixing it with the ground beef, an ad for Pedigree canned dog food interrupted the reel. At least, I hope that was an ad, and not part of the recipe.

It would appear that Fall has reached PGH. I've tried to wait out the cold snap, hoping for another rally of warm temperatures, but I'm giving in. I've bought a new cotton blanket, the khaki shorts are being put away, and the heavy jacket is coming out of the hall closet.

Updated my Series 7 Apple Watch with WatchOS 26.6. Battery drain has been high. Re-booted, un-paired/re-paired, monitored everything. Currently, letting it spend time on the charger after it hit 100% to let it finish whatever indexing/housekeeping/updating it needs to do in the background.

#pinsa About a month ago, I mentioned that the local pizza joint was offering a flatbread called a "pinsa". Shortly after I posted that, I became aware that ALDI was offering pinsa at their cooler near the entrance. We had a pinsa and a Margherita flatbread for dinner. The flatbread is flatter.

Last year, the house next door got a new metal roof. Amish guy came out, and measured everything. Weeks later, a crew came out with pre-cut panels. Attached furring strips over the existing shingles, screwed the new panels on. Boom. Done. In hours.

My Subaru has Telematics. Diagnostics run constantly and are transmitted to Subaru. I can pull up everything on my phone through a smart app. Location, tire pressure, fuel level, windshield washer fluid level. There's even an alert because I slammed on the brakes when a "Real Housewife" ... 1/
