i may not have a snuggly dog but she makes up for it by stealing my spot when i get up

some old fanart from around the time #eldenring came out. first meetings? #mohg #varre

a man, looking fearful, is pinned against a wall by a giant monstrous hand

same image as the first, but the man has a bloody symbol carved into his forehead. blood is trickling down his face

i think about my funny plant fae lad a lot, getting up to mischief in the human world hehe (old... old art. i need to draw him again)

a portrait of a character with round markings on his face and shoulders. he has branchlike horns with green and pink leaves seeming to grow from them. he is smiling and looking off to the viewer's left.

thinking about how much i love my forest creature/plant themed ocs 😩💚🌱 i only ever do color sketches of them, i need to change that #art #ocs

loose sketchy reference of a dark-haired, elven looking person with downturned ears. they have branches for horns, leaves in their hair, and a thorny vine for a tail. they have spotted markings on their cheeks and shoulders. they're barefoot and are wearing green nail polish

i remember not liking the direction of this redesign, but god do i love their color scheme 🥺 #ocs #art (2025 watermark but i did this early last year, i think)

a rough concept of an elf with warm-toned skin, brown hair and blue-green eyes. they are wearing a teal and maroon dress with gold accents, and a white flower in their hair.

(7) yarrow's overdue for an updated look, i just haven't gotten to it. they/he/she plant fae (or at least he'd really like it if you believed he's a fae) his original design is by lysandre, with tweaks made by me. likes the rain, doesn't like pants #ocsky #art

(6) jemdaw is new-to-me bitey boy lizard man. that's all i got. i love him. #ocsky he was designed by @/jellygay who is also the credit for the chibi art

170

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

his birth parents left him with an abbey as a bab, fearful of the witch's mark in his hair and his mismatched eyes. as an older kid, his found family gives him reason to leave the church behind and things are kinda alright (for a while) here's a comm i bought of him as a rat (by supersitro)

oc portrait as a rat, in the style of the great mouse detective. art by supersitro

(5) nael is my roguelock menace and unfortunately my favorite oc. his refs have jewelry but it's more of an occasional indulgence rather than an everyday thing. it makes too much noise for his liking as a sneaky type. same with coin - so be prepared to pick up the tab for him, thanks #ocsky

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

(4) - rourke is one of my Big Bads that's there to antagonize my other ocs. i've played with the thought of doing a redemption arc timeline for him, but sometimes characters just have to be unapologetically terrible on purpose. his design is by risumiru!

130

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

(3) - bastian's a big dumb jock type without a thought in his head. he's also an ancient character who doesn't get nearly enough love from me these days. the second piece shared here is by @/leighway 💙 bas is my singular cishet oc. representation!!

150

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

(2) - i couldn't do one of these "introduce your ocs" trends without talking about dara. he's a noble who lost his land and title and is pretty pissed about it still. (if you told me a few years ago that an angry white boy would become one of my favorite characters i wouldn't have believed you)

this piece was done off a referenced pose from a 3d resource site i don't have a link to currently - will update!

elden ring prisoner origin! he shaves the beard

his story had a lot to do with his personal struggles with (fantasy) colonization and assimilation, mostly to help myself navigate adulthood as an indigenous US person. i've tried giving him an updated design more recently, but it didn't stick. instead here's another older art i still sorta enjoy!

170

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

- process. here's his most recent design (2016, oof) along with a chibi of his ooold look that... i still really like. he's a firey (sometimes literally) ranger lad that lives for the snow and the grey. he started out as a drow but i've since made a homebrew race/culture for him

140

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 09/11/2024

i can't sleep, so i guess i'll start (1) ivaylo's probably my oldest oc that i still think of semi-actively. he's had many iterations over the years, all the way back to 2008. his old refs are proof that my art got way better when i stopped tracing static poses for my characters & trusting the -

110

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

I might... still have to suck it up and play an elf because I loved it in past games where some of your small interactions are tailored to that. I don't even know if they've done the same thing for veilguard though, just based on vibes it seems more faction-based this time still, this was me

130

grimwyle🌌 @grimwyle.bsky.social · 02/11/2024

His hairstyle was tied (hah) between this and the half-shaved curly bun... Which I think is going to be his story progression haircut later on. I'm really, really feeling the pointy goatee though? Whoops #rook #veilguard #tobyplaysdav
