Wage fairness initiatives in the Before Times, and then Trumpflation increased costs for restaurants. Hourly wages for many restaurant workers have gone up 30-50% since 2017. Rent, food cost, services (hood and grease trap cleaning, equipmnt repair, etc) all cost more. And so, so does your lunch.
