Fingers crossed we get this:

Summer Games Fest is today, which means that I'm back on the clock for #LinnWatch. Will today the be day? Probably not! OH WELL GOTTA PLAY TO WIN

A GIF Linn Kurosawa from Capcom's Alien vs Predator raising a fist triumphantly in the air.

Found someone streaming Capcom's ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, and holy shit I need a official port ASAP. [Caps Lock activated.] IT'S BEEN OVER 30 YEARS NO PORT SAVE FOR ONE LOCKED BEHIND THIS CLUMSY THING WHENS IT GONNA BE AVP'S TIME [Aaaaaand I'm done. On with Friday!]

A picture of the CAPCOM HOME ARCADE console, released in 2019 and containing sixteen games:

1944: The Loop Master (CPS-II)
Alien vs. Predator (CPS-II)
Armored Warriors (CPS-II)
Capcom Sports Club (CPS-II)
Captain Commando (CPS)
Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness (CPS-II)
Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors (CPS-II)
Eco Fighters (CPS-II)
Final Fight (CPS)
Ghouls 'n Ghosts (CPS)
Giga Wing (CPS-II)
Mega Man: The Power Battle (CPS)
Progear (CPS-II)
Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting (CPS)
Strider (CPS)
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo (CPS-II)

Alien vs Predator is trapped on this thing until an official release, and it's a damn shame.

Whoops. (you'll know it when you see it)

A picture of STICKY FINGAZ from ONYX as Blade, with the header, "Vampire Movies So Great That They Became the Blueprint".

Since the screencap in the article is from Spike TV's BLADE: THE SERIES and not Wesley Snipes' Blade... whoops.

...THEY FUCKING DID IT. !!!

Watching RETURN ENGAGEMENT (1990) on HI-YAH: BRAIN: ...there better be a gun in that Peking Duck. ME: I know, right? And wouldn't you know it...

A picture of a scene from RETURN ENGAGEMENT (1990), in which a gun is hidden inside a Peking Duck. Movies are great!

Now! The fun part via the blu ray cover of a very maligned movie! I got a feeling that this is all very, very intentional- can't wait until September to find out! (I'm probably also reaching like hell- but this is how my brain works, so I'm having fun)

The French (I think) cover of the blu ray of 2010's non-classic remake of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. Aughteens Krueger is facing the camera, position just about mirroring Zeztz's in the teaser poster in the previous pic.

Adam Griffin @griffworld.net · 07/07/2025

And then it all clicked. (in a damn good way) First, the promo pic- note the usage of red and green:

The teaser poster for Kamen Rider Zeztz, the 7th Reiwa era Rider, and 40th overall. Zeztz's primary colors are red, black, and green, and their suit design is reminiscent of Rider 1, especially with the double racing stripe on the arms and chest design.

Account keeps getting flagged, so here's a pinned pic:

A picture of what I guess is an evergreen picture of me appealing a Graphic Media label, because Bluesky keeps flagging it as such, and... nah.

Didn't ever expect my favorite NES game to get added to Street Fighter 6, but I'll take all the existential wins I can at this point. Something tells me this is how Alien vs. Predator is gonna finally get that port...

SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE IN THE EIGHTIES: "So, uh, a lot of kids aren't taking this whole thing well- maybe we should bring Optimus back." SOMEONE ELSE, SOMEWHERE IN THE EIGHTIES: "Oh- well, uh... we'll bring him back, alright." THE RESULT:

Look at it. It's a screencap from DARK AWAKENING, PART 2, a Transformers story that asks and answers a very simple question: "How do we fuck up an entire generation via nightmare imagery?"

ZOMBIE OPTIMUS PRIME SACRIFICING HIMSELF.

Don't worry, he got better...

AND THEN THEY KILLED HIM AGAIN IN THE HEADMASTERS SERIES!

The 80's were rough, man.

My big silly #DoctorWho theory for this season is that it's really about the Doctor rectifying what took place in 1955 that one time. (no shade to BTTF; it is what it is)

A picture of the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and the Vindicator, from "Lux".

A picture of Marvin Berry (Harry Waters Jr.) from Back to the Future holding a phone out for his cousin Chuck, implying that Marty McFly influenced Chuck Berry... which doesn't hold up today.

Greatest t-shirt ever. IYKYK.

A picture of the "Damn Enchilada" t-shirt from Fright Rags, featuring the greatest character to get killed in a gross shitbox during the fifth movie of a slasher franchise... that's right, "Demon" from F13 part 5, played by Miguel A. Nunez Jr.

Street Fighter 2010 reimagined as an epic Metroidvania co-op beat-em-up.

The box art to STREET FIGHTER 2010: THE FINAL FIGHT; Kevin Straker, the silver armored cyberplasmic hero of the game, is blasting the hell out of some monsters.

...fingers crossed it's this kind of insane:
