The goal seems to be to avoid the eshop getting flooded with shovelware which is a valid goal however if it’s impacting quality devs and studios then it’s not a viable solution.

That’s a great point, dad gaming is real 😄 It’s why I’ve sunk 200+ hours into games like Dead Cells and Hades. I think a shorter loop and/or a more hand-holds tutorial would make this something I’d revisit.

As much as it's an incredible concept for a game I just can't get onboard with Pacific Drive. It's a fantastic game but I just can't get "onboarded" to it before I find the difficulty slamming me into the pavement. Added to the pile of 'It's not you, it's me' game pile. 🥲
