Going Home for Twilight:2000 (the original GDW was 1986?, later Mongoose version in 2000). One option for rossing hostile Poland is an armored train, with coal-fired steam locomotive. Machine gun nests optional, but recommended.

A picture of The Herculoids, a human man and woman with their son, and their deeply bizzare alien animal friends, including two amprphous blobs named Gloop and Gleep, a space rhino named Tundro, a laser dragon named Zok, and a giant stone ape called Igoo. I don't remember the people names.

How about a classic Triceratops for #FossilFriday? This one is from the collection at @natural-history.bsky.social
A front view of a mounted Triceratops specimen at the American Museum of Natural History. It is up on its toes with its head slightly canted, showing its prominent horns and bony crest. In front is a small statuette showing an artist's depiction of that the dinosaur might look like in life. At the bottom is the museum's description of the display, which is mostly cut off in the frame.

First #FossilFriday of the year! Thought I'd pull one out of my stash, from the AMNH collection. One perfect Thagomizer!
The photo shows the spiked tail of a prepared dinosaur specimen behind glass and the American Museum of Natural History in New York, taken in 2023.
The thagomizer is the cluster of four spikes on the end of a Stegosaurus tail. It gets its name from a 1982 Far Side comic strip, in which is is named after a deceased caveman named Thag Simmons. Paleontologists seemd to like the joke, and the name stuck.

I might argue that is *evidence* of cat. Proof is only found in axiomatic domains. As proof, I offer this Cat Seal of Approval:
