I've always been a literal person and so I cling more to what I can see, science for example, to influence how I operate in terms of my morality. In the end, all want is to do good by myself and others, and that's all that should matter. Sorry for the rant. Just wanted to get that off my chest

I didn't say anything but I found that whole thing utterly culty and strange. Overall, the whole experience was weird, and obviously one visit to a mass was not going to convert me, but I just don't see how accepting God is gonna help me. I think what's described as God is our ability to do good.
