I wasn’t yet an AEW fan yet during the PAC vs Hangman feud but did learn of it & the #FullGearChallenge shortly after becoming a fan, inspired me to push myself in the gym & the story was a great example of the AEW culture. Still have the logo on the wall by where a whiteboard I wrote my goals was.

So glad to have been there when Kenny Omega challenged for the title & glad the conclusion was in a moment like today where the title went to someone with a deep appreciation for Omega’s work. I remember being so scared for Kenny with the stipulation with MJF, but he did it & should be proud.

AI can’t seem to find any instances of this happening though the part on “technicalities” opens up some possibilities. One thing I thought of along the lines of a “brand split” is that Hangman could still win an ROH World Championship, which could be great if they got a good TV/streaming deal.
