I would proudly wear a shirt that said "AI denier" because I deny that AI exists. Machine learning exists, and large language models exist, but not AI. They use "AI" to make you think it's not just a hallucinating chatbot trained on stolen data.

It isn't any more of a safety risk than any other technology. And unlike the GFC or the dot-com bubble, there won't be much useful infrastructure left over once the "AI" bubble pops. And Anthropic or OpenAI's fall won't hurt many outside the "AI" industry. So no bailouts. NVIDIA investors will cry.
