Amy notes that China has joined Japan is now onselling Australian gas. FMD we *really* need to tax the gas. Barely a more obvious policy has presented itself. One political party will do it and they will get all the advantage. #TaxTheGas www.thenewdaily.com.au/news/politic...

Always punching down.
Dear RBA,
Workers are at their breaking point. Household spending isn't causing inflation. Global conflict and corporate greed is. And you know it.
Stop squeezing people who are already struggling to make ends meet.

Of course the RBA will keep raising interest rates. A bit more poverty, a few more jobless - it's such an easy lever to pull. In fact, it's a bit like human sacrifice to appease the Business Gods and it works, for some.

Oh he's heading back to daughter's family as soon as the house is closeable. He's an indoor-only cat and they have tradies taking stuff in and out all day. And they miss him. Hmm, actually 7 weeks! We're a bit worried about this "cat distribution system" though.

Greybeard @greybeard.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
We've now had this cat for about six weeks and while I like him, I don't want one of my own. It's a tough life though. He has to change windows several times a day to keep the sun on his lazy hide and when it's dark, there are only two laps.

Yes all Australians should be alarmed by what Segal proposes, and legacy media's unwillingness to take it up to her and the Israel lobby she represents. But no less a threat to 'social cohesion' is the PM who appointed Segal, and so enabled foreign interference disguised as countering antisemitism.
