Another shot today from Troutbeck Tongue a little after sunrise yesterday morning. Some decent light and cloud sitting over Windermere in the distance meant that I had pretty nice conditions for about 20 mins though. Early start but back home for a brew by 10am. Not a bad start to the week!

Troutbeck Tongue yesterday morning catching the sun from the south east as murky dark clouds sit to the north. Quick blast out was a bit soggy underfoot but we were treated to some brief moments of impressive light as the sun peeped through the thick clouds.

A view that is so familiar to me that I often take it for granted - the higher peaks that form part of the Fairfield Horseshoe (Great Rigg, Fairfield, and Hart Crag).
