I never believed the sci-fi promise of AI overtaking human knowledge, ingenuity, and inventiveness, but now I see that the intersection won't result from an overwhelming acceleration of AI, but humanity's own trend line plunging to meet it. It's depressing, and I have no reassuring words. ❤️

I'm with you, 100%. All I can really do is stay true to these values myself, which I absolutely will. I'd much rather admit to only knowing a small portion of my passions and continue to learn than pretend to know everything while actually knowing nothing and becoming stagnant.

I was curious (perhaps hopeful?) you guys had gone the Steam route as an anti-piracy move, and further intrigued when the Steam version didn't have an NES ROM upon download, so I did some... digging. 😆 It helped that the symbols are still in the executable on Steam. 😉 Probably fine, but just FYI.

I'm sure it's partially due to only being a week out of hand surgery & holding the controller in a weird way just to be able to play, but after the network test, I can confidently say that Duskbloods is not for me. After seeing my sixth summer movie today, I decided to put on my statistician hat and test my personal rankings against Rotten Tomatoes. My Spearing rank correlation with critics is -0.02, or almost perfectly uncorrelated, and with audiences is 0.37, or weakly in-agreement. Fascinating. 🤓
